Hyundai leads in car licenses, followed by Nissan

The June report was issued by the Egyptian Compulsory Vehicle Insurance Pool, which included a list of the most licensed brands for private cars.

List of Car Licenses

According to what was issued by the Egyptian Pool regarding compulsory car insurance:

• Hyundai: The South Korean brand Hyundai ranked first in the list of most licensed private cars in Egypt during the month of June, as about 1448 cars were licensed.
• Nissan: The Japanese brand Nissan came in second place with 1101 licensed cars.
• Kia: In third place came the Kia brand, as 956 cars were licensed.
• Chery: The fourth place went to Chery cars with 863 cars.
• MG: The MG brand came in fifth place with 813 licensed cars.

New Car Licenses

The official report issued by the Egyptian Pool for Compulsory Vehicle Insurance revealed that the number of new cars licensed during the month of June reached 25,855 vehicles. These vehicles are distributed as follows:

• (2,135) 2021 model vehicles.
• (3,589) 2022 model vehicles.
• (4,075) 2023 model vehicles.
• (15,232) 2024 model vehicles.
• (824) 2025 model vehicles.

Newly Licensed Private Cars

The report indicated that the total number of new private cars that obtained insurance documents and licensing amounted to 11,851 cars. Among them, the following were registered:

308 2021 model cars.

702 2022 model cars.

1,564 2023 model cars.

8,563 2024 model cars.

714 2025 model cars.

Newly Licensed Trucks

The report indicated that the number of new transport vehicles that were licensed amounted to about 1,044 cars. Among these cars, there are:

30 2021 model cars.

117 2022 model cars.

134 2023 model cars.

676 2024 model cars.

87 2025 model cars.
