Fiat has unveiled the fourth generation of its Panda hatchback in a surprising move

featuring a design that combines classic-inspired lines with a larger size leaning towards crossover vehicles. It’s now called the “Grande Panda” to distinguish it from the current model.

The car boasts a design that blends modern style with touches of heritage, largely inspired by the Fiat Concept City Car prototype showcased earlier this year. The LED lights are arranged in pixel modules to form an X shape at the front and rear. Additionally, the wheels are designed in an X shape and measure 17 inches.

The “Grande Panda” shares the same platform as the Citroën C3 and its electric version, the e-C3, with a length of 3.99 meters, representing an increase of 337 mm from the previous generation of the Panda. On the other hand, it is 25 mm shorter than the C3. The Italian company has not yet released images of the car’s interior, but it has confirmed its capacity for five passengers and suitability for family use.

Based on previous concept cars and promotional campaigns, it’s likely that the interior will be designed with oval shapes to reflect the unique design at the Turin factory, with a focus on practicality to meet the expectations of previous generations.
