6 New Cars Launched in Egypt in August 2026

Six new cars were launched in the Egyptian market during August 2026. These models vary between REEV, hybrid, and gasoline-powered vehicles, while offering competitive prices and a range of modern specifications and features. 2026 Car Models

Around six new cars were launched in Egypt last month, offering different specifications, powertrains, and equipment. Here are some of the most notable models:

MG RX9

Mansour Automotive launched the MG RX9 on August 3. The crossover SUV features a seven-seat configuration and comes with the following powertrain specifications:

• Engine: 1.5-liter.
• Power: 295 hp.
• Torque: 390 Nm.

iCAUR V27

The iCAUR V27 was launched on August 18 and is classified as a REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle). It is available in two versions.

The first version is powered by an electric motor producing approximately 248 hp and 300 Nm of torque. The second version features an all-wheel-drive system, with its two motors producing a combined 449 hp and 505 Nm of torque.

XPENG G7 and P7+

The XPENG G7 and P7+ were both launched in Egypt during August. Both models use SUPER REEV technology, marking their first launch outside China.

Chery Tiggo 7 Pro

On August 24, the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro began local assembly by GB Auto. The vehicle is powered by the following powertrain:

• Engine: 1.5-liter.
• Power: 145 hp.
• Torque: 210 Nm.

Opel Frontera

The Opel Frontera was launched in Egypt on August 4. It is positioned as one of the smallest seven-seat cars in the Egyptian market, as well as one of the most affordable, with a price of approximately EGP 1.19 million.

Its powertrain specifications include:

• Engine: 1.2-liter.
• Power: 130 hp.
• Torque: 230 Nm.
• Transmission: 6-speed automatic.
