Recently, the Egyptian market witnessed the launch of BAIC cars through its new agent, Alkan Auto, a subsidiary of the Egyptian International Motors Group (EIM). This move reflects the continuous expansion of Chinese brands into global markets, especially in Egypt, where they are fiercely competing to offer affordable and modern vehicles.

Alkan Auto has secured the exclusive agency for BAIC cars in Egypt, inaugurating its first center in Sheikh Zayed City. This 3S showroom offers sales, maintenance, and spare parts services, enhancing the customer experience and ensuring efficient after-sales services.

At the recent launch event, three main BAIC models were unveiled for the Egyptian market:

– *BAIC X7*

  – Engine: 1.5-liter turbocharged, producing up to 185 horsepower.

  – Transmission: 7-speed DSG.

– *BAIC X55*

  – Engine: 1.5-liter turbocharged, producing 185 horsepower.

  – Transmission: 7-speed DSG.

– *BAIC U5 Plus*

  – Engine: 1.5-liter, producing up to 111 horsepower.

  – Transmission: 7-speed CVT.
